Open Call to North Shore Artists (Deadline Extended!)



The Gallery at Porter Mill and North Shore Art*Throb are teaming up! We're calling on all artists who currently reside on the North Shore of Massachusetts to submit their work to the juried, co-sponsored spring exhibit: Transformation. Susan Halter, Executive Director of LynnArts, will be jurying submissions and curating an exhibit that embodies the idea of transformation. Additionally, all submitting artists have the chance to be featured on the cover of North Shore Art*Throb's May issue!       The list of cities and towns we are including in this call are listed above. Sorry! I know Wenham is so close - we're using the technical definition. Hope to see you at the opening!

  2. Hamilton, Wenham and Topsfield are in the North Shore. The "technical definition" isn't.

    You can find the definition we used for defining North Shore at this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Shore_(Massachusetts)
    Look under "Coastal." This list of cities and towns most closely aligned with the mission of the North Shore Art*Throb - the publication we are collaborating with. I hope this helps to clear up any confusion.
