New works by the Bad Apple Artist Collective
August 7th – September 28th
The Gallery at Porter Mill is pleased to announce it's latest
Exhibition, "Keepers of the Earth." The Opening Reception
will be held at the gallery 5 - 8 PM on August 7th, and the works will be
on display through September 28th. Porter Mill is located at 95 Rantoul Street, Beverly, MA 01915.
"Keepers of the Earth is the fourth group exhibition from the
international artist collective known as The Bad Apples. Featuring
new pieces from fifteen different artists, each individual has
explored their own personal relationship with the earth, and created
artwork to reflect this bond. Though this collection of artworks
displays a broad range of styles, it is united by the theme of earth
and spirituality in nature.
Established in April of 2012, the Bad Apples began showcasing
their work as a group throughout various social networking
communities online. In 2013, they had their first of many group
exhibitions. Though the artists are from different parts of the
world, and all have different backgrounds, educations, and ages, they
share a common bond in their love for dark and fantastical pop
surrealist art."
The artists featured in this exhibition are Anita Inverarity, Brittany Hanks, Candace McKay, Carla
Wyzgala, Dalton Carpenter, Heather Rose, Jinx in the Sky, Kim Turner, Lea
Barozzi, Leilani Joy, Lesley D. McKenzie, Raul
Guerra, Stephanie Allison, Tammy Mae Moon, and Terra
Bidlespacher.
